The Gate16Off module is used to only allow the boolean conditions to be active when enabled. If not enabled all the outputs of the block are set to On. This block is can be used with the interlock (P_Intlk) and Permissive (P_Perm) to enable process conditions that are only required under certain modes that the plant is operating under. Therefore, conditions that are not relevant under a certain plant mode of operation are disabled when that mode is selected.
